Michele Soldovieri residente a Roma.

It has been both an honor and a pleasure to have known you and worked for you these past fifteen years. You were not only my boss but my dear friend and I am certainly a better person for having known you. Honest, caring, intelligent, kind, generous, humble, hard-working........the list goes on and on.....but as I have stated to so many people over the years, the most defining adjective I'd use to describe you is a "true gentleman." I will NEVER forget you John. Not a single day will go by without a thought of you. I have been so blessed and I thank God for allowing our paths to cross in this life...

Mr. Soldoveri is one of my father's best friend. I remember him as a gentle, caring, and humorous uncle figure. John always had a wide smile for me and words of encouragement. He gave back to his friends, his family and his community. My entire family benefitted from having him in our lives. We will miss him terribly. All my love, Lovey Cerfolio

Jim and I and on behalf of my deceased mother, Jean Pulhamus Smith, who thought so much of the Soldoveri family, we would like to extend our deepest sympathy. Mr. Soldoveri was also very helpful to us over the years. Family obligations prevent us from attenting his viewing, but want the family to know he is in our thoughts and prayers. Please see that Adele and Julia see my note. Thank you.

Grace, Bob, Jane & the Soldoveri Family -
My sincerest condolences to you at this difficult time. John was very dear to me and I turned to him for clarity and wisdom many times over the years since my own father had passed on. He set a standard for courage, ethics, and service that is unsurpassed. The world is a better place for his influence and he will live long in the memories of the many he impacted. MY thoughts and prayers are with you.

John and his whole family, beginning with his mom, Julia, were a very important part of my life as I grew up in Totowa. John set examples of dignity, loyalty, thoughtfulness, and compassion that affected me for the rest of my life. When I was a kid, I was always impressed by how he would speak to me as if I were an adult. I was proud to follow him as a student at Passaic Valley High School and then at Seton Hall.

A true gentleman who was guided by his high moral standards. John was a true philanthropist and was deeply concerned about his fellow man and the community in which he lived.
John lived an exemplary life that even in this time of great sorrow should be celebrated with joy.
May God Bless John and his entire family at this most difficult time.
