Obituary of George F. Mallamaci

Mallamaci, George F. age 85 of North Haledon at rest in Paterson on July 13, 2014. Beloved husband of the late Ida A. (nee Veltri) (2003). Loving father of George B. Mallamaci and his wife, Jane Carosiello of North Haledon, Michael Mallamaci and his wife, Laura of Wilmington, DE, and Robert Mallamaci of North Haledon. Dear grandfather of Anthony and Michael. Brother of the late Frank, Carmen, and Antoinette. Born in Paterson, he lived in Paterson for most of his life before moving to North Haledon. He was a mechanic for Ford Motor Co. Mahwah, for 20 years. After that, he worked as a mechanic for Hudson Nissan, Jersey City for 20 years, before retiring. Mr. Mallamaci was a Korean War Veteran. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service at the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa on Wednesday at 12:00 PM. Entombment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery Mausoleum, Totowa. Friends may visit Wednesday 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM.
