Obituary of Rose M Coppa

Coppa, Rose M. (nee Cropanese) age 95 of West Paterson at rest in West Paterson on June 18, 2014. Beloved wife of the late Frank J. Coppa, Sr. (1971). Loving mother of Dominic Coppa and his wife, Jeanette of Totowa, "Larry" Lawrence and his wife, Antonia of Point Pleasant, Frank J. Coppa and his fiancée, Kimberly of Totowa and the late Louis "Lou" Coppa (2001). Dear sister of Philomena Spinoso of Cape Coral, FL and Santo "Samuel" Cropanese of Cape Coral, FL. Also survived by 8 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Born in Paterson, she was a lifelong resident of West Paterson. She was a Homemaker. Mrs. Coppa was a member of the West Paterson Fire Department Co # 3 Ladies Auxiliary, the "Ridgerunners". She was a parishioner of Our Lady of Pompeii R.C. Church, Paterson and sang with the choir. She was also a member of the Rosary Altar Society and the Pompeii Seniors. She loved to travel the world, sing and dance. She kept her Italian heritage alive through 4 generations with culture and food. She had a great love for God and her family. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, on Saturday at 9:00 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at Our Lady of Pompeii R.C. Church, Paterson at 9:30 AM. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. Friends may visit Friday 2-4 and 7-9 PM.
