Theresa Monjack posted a condolence
For almost 20 years, "Joe" was my son-in-law. Although this was many years ago, my memories remain quite strong. When he married my step-daughter Marie, I, like any parent, worried if he would be a good husband and father. My most vivid memory was the very first moment I saw Joe after his beautiful daughters, Eva and JoAnn, were born. Holding one tiny bundle in each arm, he looked at me with such complete happiness and joy, I was moved to tears.
I am thinking of that moment now, and of Joe. May you rest in peace.
To my granddaughters, Eva and JoAnn, those two little bundles who grew up to become two wonderful, caring women, you are in my thoughts and prayers.

When I first saw the photo of "Joe" on this memorial page, my first reaction was "Wow! Who IS this old man? I don't even recognize him." (Truth be told, I say that every morning when I first see MYSELF in the mirror!) Then I sat and just looked at the photo ... and there was Joe. His eyes, his nose. You see, I haven't seen Joe in over 30 years. In my mind, Joe remains in his 30's. A handsome man, lean, with a dancer's body, and a quick smile. It appears that time was good to Joe ... he aged gracefully. Rest well, Joe.
And to Eva and JoAnn, I love you both. Cherish the time you had with him, and the memories. My thoughts are with you.

Tony was a one in a million guy. He made everyone feel special and gave of himself to see you happy. I love to hear him tell stories of days gone by and the joy he had in living in them.
One things that sadden me is that I never express to him how much I admired him and loved him for the wonderful person he was.
As you go on the next journey I know that the angels are there with you and have escorted you in the arm of the father.
I miss seeing you in the afternoon when arriving home from work, but I can see you in my mind and I chuckle.
Love to you Tony... see you when I get there! You will always be in my heart.

Joe was a father figure for me during my childhood. He taught me how to appreciate certain foods, drive and many other things that I still remember and use in my life. I am deeply grieved by his passing and am sure he will rest in peace. The memory of him will be with me forever. May god bless his soul.

Though my memories of you are mostly from my childhood, they are still vivid in my mind. Summers down the shore in Lavallette. I remember the spaghetti fight, and throwing cold water on the poor unfortunate soul exiting the shower. Lots of laughs with all of us kids. You were just a big kid yourself. I remember the train sets in the basement, and the way you used to do the jitterbug with my sister Marie. Rest in peace "Joe". God bless you Eva and JoAnn. We love you very much. We are going to miss our dear friend, Tony, very much. I want everyone to know that Tony was a father to me and a grandfather to my children. Anthony Testa will always be part of my loving and dear memories in my life. We love him so much and we will "never" forget him. There are too many memories, YANKEE STADIUM, North Arlington Diner, Michaelangelos, The Red Lobster, the movies, the mall, Sesame Place, Kingsburg, my sister's house, my mom's house, feeding the birds, the laundry room, the park, etc. So many years, so many beautiful times together. Words cannot express the loss and the hurt in our hearts. We will miss you so much Tony and please wherever you are, remember us and love us as much as we love you forever and ever. This is from Cindy, Michelle, and Tara "your extended family" Treadwell Arms, in Newark, New Jersey.
