Morano, Mario A. Major of Totowa at rest in Hopatcong on April 3, 2005. Beloved husband of late Freddie Jean Moon and Edith (nee Bevaqua) Morano. Father of Athealynn Morano and James Morano. Step-father of Donna M War. Brother of Salvatore Morano, Ann Mazzarone, Emily Spina and the late Rita Spina. Grandfather of Dina L. Meddings and Lynette Morano. Great grandfather of Alex and Danny Meddings. Survivors include many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, on Thursday at 9:30 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. James R.C. Church, Totowa at 10:00 AM. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. Friends may call Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. OBITUARY
Mario A. Morano age 88 of Totowa died Sunday. Born in Paterson, NJ he lived there before moving to Totowa in 1952. He was a Tractor Trailer Assembler for Veenema & Wiggers Co., Clifton, NJ for many years. Mr. Morano was a member of the American Legion Post #227, Totowa, NJ. He was a parishioner of St. James R.C. Church, Totowa, NJ and was a veteran of the Army.
