Obituary of Salvatore “Kelly� Ciuppa

Ciuppa, Salvatore of Paterson at rest in Wayne on February 2, 2005. He was known as Kelly while working for Zeal Glass Co., Paterson, N.J. Mr. Ciuppa was the beloved husband of the late Tomasina (nee Sacco). Father of Beverly Gilligan and her husband, Albert and Jo-Ann Cornetto and her husband Alfred. Grandfather of Patricia A. Di Giaimo and her husband, Charles F., Michael S. Gilligan, Kevin T. Cornetto, and Christopher Cornetto. Great grandfather of Danielle N. and Michael C. Di Giaimo. Brother of Rosario, Thomas, Paul and Nancy Ferraro, Frances Martino and the late Ignatius and Vincent Ciuppa. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, on Saturday at 8:30 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at Our Lady of Pompeii R.C. OBITUARY Salvatore Ciuppa age 90 of Paterson died Wednesday at St. Josephs Wayne Hospital. Born in Collesano, Prov. di Palermo, Sicily, Italy he came to the United States in 1914 residing in Garfield, N.J. before moving to Paterson in 1944. He was an Installer and Cutter for Zeal Glass Co., Paterson, N.J. for many years before retiring in 1966. Mr. Ciuppa was a World War II Army veteran. Preceeding him in death was his wife: Tomasina (neeSacco) Ciuppa. 2 brothers: Ignatius Ciuppa and Vincent Ciuppa. Survivors include: 2 daughters: Beverly Gilligan and her husband, Albert of Delray Beach, Fl. Jo-Ann Cornetto and her husband, Alfred of Towaco, N.J. 3 brothers: Rosario Ciuppa of Garfield, N.J. Thomas Ciuppa of Fl. Paul Ciuppa of Fl. 2 sisters: Frances Martino of Fl. Nancy Ferraro of North Jersey. 4 grandchildren: Patricia A. Di Giaimo and her husband, Charles F. of Pequannock, N.J. Michael S. Gilligan of Horsham, Pa. Kevin T. Cornetto of Morris Township, N.J. Christopher J. Cornetto of Towaco, N.J. 2 great grandchildren: Danielle N. and Michael C. Di Giaimo of Pequannock, N.J.
