Son-in-law of William and Louise Denequolo. Brother-in-law of William Denequolo Jr. Also survived by 5 grandchildren and 2 nephews. Tierno age 78 of Paterson died Saturday. Born in Paterson, NJ he was a lifelong resident of Paterson. He was a Maintenance Man for the Passaic Valley Water Commission, Clifton, NJ for 20 years before retiring in 1996. Mr. Tierno was a parishioner of St. Marys R.C. Church, Paterson and was a Korean Army Veteran. He played baseball with the St. Louis Cardinals minor league division team. Survivors include his wife: Mary Ann (nee Denequolo) Tierno of Paterson 2 sons: Thomas J. Tierno of Voorhees, NJ Mark Peirano of Andover, NJ Brother: Eugene Tierno of Wayne, NJ Also survived by 5 grandchildren and 2 nephews.
