Rath and Jennifer L. Caggiano and her husband Joseph. Brother of Marie Wedlake and Herman Rath. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services at the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, on Saturday at 10:00 AM. Interment to follow at Laurel Grove Memorial Park, Totowa. Friends may call Friday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Rath age 85 of Totowa died Tuesday. Born in Passaic, N.J. he lived in Totowa all of his life. He was a Heavy Equipment Operator for Operating Engineers Union Local #825, Newark, N.J. for many years retiring in 1981. Mr. Rath was a 50 year member of Lincoln Fire Company and former Fire Chief of Totowa. He was a member of the F&AM, Mountain View Lodge, Wayne, N.J. He was a WW II Army Air Corp Veteran and a member of the VFW Post, Totowa, N.J. Preceeding him in death was his wife, Dorothy M. (nee Sanford) Rath. Survivors include: A son: Ronald H. Rath of Totowa, N.J. A sister: Marie Wedlake of Totowa, N.J. A brother: Herman Rath of Totowa, N.J. Also surviving are 2 Granddaughters.
