Obituary of John W. Krautheim Sr.

Krautheim, John W. Sr. of Totowa at rest in Paterson on April 29, 2004. Beloved husband of the former Joan A. Sprich. Devoted father of John Krautheim Jr., Mark Krautheim, David Krautheim, and Robert Krautheim. Brother of Bruce Krautheim, Thomas Krautheim and Harriet Ambrogio. Loving grandfather of Kelly, John III, Benjamin, Ryan, Theresa, and Lucia. For more information, go to www.festamemorial.com OBITUARY John W. Krautheim, Sr. age 70 of Totowa died Thursday at St. Josephs Hospital, Paterson. Born in Paterson, NJ he lived in Totowa the past 40 years. He was a Revenue Officer and Manager for the Tax Collection Group for the Internal Revenue Service, Paterson, NJ from 1960 to 1990. Prior to that, he was an electronics technician for ITT, Nutley for 10 years. He graduated from Central High School, Paterson and Rutgers University with a BS Degree. He was a United States Air Force Veteran. He was the former Commissioner for the Passaic County Board of Elections. He was a member of the American Legion Post #227, Totowa. Mr. Krautheim was a parishioner of St. James R.C. Church, Totowa and a member of its Knights of Columbus Council #6574. He was a member of the Totowa Borough Republican Club and was a member of the SILENTIA Masonic Lodge, Butler. He was a member of the 32nd Degree Valley of Northern NJ, Lincoln Park. He belonged to the Shriners - Salaam Temple A.A.O.N.M.S., Livingston and was a Trustee/Treasurer of the Dwight D. Eisenhower Library, Totowa. He was a member of the Happy Seniors of Totowa, NJ Survivors include his wife: The former Joan A. Sprich 4 sons: John Krautheim Jr. of Totowa, NJ Mark Krautheim of Perrysburg, Ohio David Krautheim of West Paterson, NJ Robert Krautheim of Bloomingdale, NJ A sister: Harriet Ambrogio of Paterson, NJ 2 brothers: Bruce Krautheim of Fair Lawn Thomas Krautheim of Wilmington, NC Also survived by 6 grandchildren.
