Cieslak, John Sr. of Paterson at rest in Paterson on April 29, 2004. Beloved father of John Cieslak Jr. and his wife Regina, Robert J. Cieslak and his wife Ellen, Thomas G. Cieslak and his fiancee Manisha and Michael S. Cieslak and his wife Ann Joy. Grandfather of Jonathan, Teresa, Monica, Daniel, Renai, Michael, Alexandra, Matthew and Amanda Cieslak. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, on Thursday at 8:45 AM. For more information go to www.festamemorial.com. OBITUARY John Cieslak Sr. age 77 of Paterson died Thursday. Born in Poland, he came to the U.S.A. in 1948 settling in Paterson. He was a Tool & Die Maker for Art-Wire Doduco, Morris Plains, N.J. for many years before retiring in 1990. Mr. Cieslak was a member of the United States Soccer Federation and a soccer referee for Division 3 children. He was a Veteran of the British Army during WWII holding the rank of Staff Sergeant in command of 144 men. He was also a member of the Berlin Command which policed the divided cities after the war. Survivors include: 4 sons: John Cieslak Jr. of Washingtonville, N.Y. Robert J. Cieslak of Fair Lawn, N.J. Thomas G. Cieslak of Wayne, N.J. Michael S. Cieslak of Oahu, HI. Also surviving are 9 Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa is in charge of arrangements.
