Bruno, Alverta (nee Hanna) of Paterson at rest in Paterson on March 1, 2006. Beloved wife of the late John Bruno. Mother of Salvatore R. Bruno and John E. Bruno and his wife Anna. Grandmother of Evan C. Bruno and Jarrett T. Bruno. Also surviving are several Nieces and Nephews. Funeral Service to follow at Madison Park-Epworth United Methodist Church, Paterson at 9:30 AM. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. Friends may call Friday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. OBITUARY Alverta (nee Hanna) Bruno age 85 of Paterson died Wednesday. Born in Paterson, N.J. she lived in Paterson lifelong. She was a Sunday School Teacher for Madison Park - Epworth United Methodist Church, Paterson for 10 years before retiring in 1986. Mrs. Bruno was a longtime member of the Madison Park - Epworth United Methodist Church, Paterson, N.J. and was involved with a number of ministries there. Preceeding her in death was: Her husband, John Bruno Survivors include: 2 sons: Salvatore R. Bruno of Randolph, N.J. John E. Bruno of Sterling, VA. Also surviving are 2 Grandsons, a Daughter in Law and several Nieces and Nephews. Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa is in charge of arrangements.
