Miller, Charles Charlie J. of Randolph, formerly of Paterson at rest in Denville on April 12, 2004. Beloved husband of the late Marguerite A. (nee Arienta). Father of Charles D. Miller and his wife, Alice and Barbara J. Murphy and her husband, James. Brother of Edward A. Miller. Grandfather of Kristin Murphy, Lisa Miller, and Steven Miller. Great grandfather of Anthony Murphy. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the services at the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Friday at 11:00 AM. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. Friends may call Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Diabetes Foundation would be appreciated. For more information, go to www.festamemorial.com OBITUARY Charlie J. Miller age 81 of Randolph died Monday. Born in Paterson, NJ he lived in Paterson most of his life before moving to Randolph in 2001. He was Chief Inspector for the Paterson Board of Public Works for 12 years before retiring in 1984. Prior to that, he was the owner/proprietor of N+C Sales, Paterson for many years. Mr. Miller was a World War II Marine veteran, participating in action in Okinawa, and receiving the Purple Heart. He was a member of the VFW, Morris Plains, NJ and a member of the Elmwood Park Elks Lodge. Preceeding him in death was his wife: the former Marguerite Arienta Survivors include: A son: Charles D. Miller of Randolph, NJ A daughter: Barbara J. Murphy of Totowa, NJ A brother: Edward A. Miller of Forked River, NJ Also survived by 3 grandchildren and a great-son. Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa is in charge of arrangements.
