Miss Joannie,
I can't believe it's been almost 4 years since you passed away. It still doesn't feel like you're gone! I keep thinking you're just on a long vacation and you'll be back. It's crazy...I always knew you were a hilarious, amazing lady. But I never realized just how special you were until now. It takes a very strong and wonderful spirit to live on like you have. We talk and laugh about you quite often. We miss you very much, but not in a sad way. You were one of a kind, Joannie. I can't wait to see you again. Please take care of Casey in the meantime. I'm so glad he has friends like you to greet him in heaven.

I have many fond memories of Joan's friendly smile from the years when I was growing up on Sutton Ave. May the memories of her friendship and kindness and her love for her friends and family sustain you all in the days and weeks to come.

Aunt Joanie,
You were one of the special ones. There are some people in this life that make you feel happy and special and when in their company you hate to have the visit end and you were one of those people. We will miss you very much.

Joan, It's time to say good-by, but just for awhile, I won't be writting cards or talking to you on the phone, but I will feel your presence in my heart, you have always been there for me as well as others, your kind caring, loving, thoughtful, and show compassion to the needs of family, friends, neighbors and strangers. We grew up together, I met you when Bbb dated Betty , you read every comic book they made. Then you and Ralph met for a date Happy New Year,we double dated several times, twice in N.Y.City, had a blast got lost, digging in all our pockets for toll change, laughing so hard the cabbie dident charge the full fairfor the stop in the Villege, then before you could shake a stick you got engaged. Remember the time you and Ralph were visiting us in the Orchard in Unionville? It began snowing, we had a storm aBLIZZARD we took the sled to Unionville and bought cases of beer ect.Your mom called upset, she was snow'd in, had no beer, and wanted to know where you slept. we laughed liked crazy, you slept upstairs with me and Ralph was down stairs. We had many wonderful times, there were so many times I picked up the phone feeling really bad, you were a wonderful listener you were always there for me MY GOD AM I GOING TO MISS YOU. I'm happy you are not in pain any more,it hurt me so bad that I could not take your pain away, I felt hopeless, just like I did for mom, you are resting now my wonderful sister-in-law rest in peace,i'll see you soon love Audrey xxxxoooo
