Di Donato, Sr., Carlo of Ringwood departed this life to be with the Lord on January 17, 2004. Beloved husband of 53 years of the former Eleanor C. Banachowski. Father of Nicholas Di Donato and Carlo Di Donato Jr. Brother of Carmella Harty and Wayne Councilman, Joseph Di Donato and the late Virginia Agnone. Grandfather of Jason, Michele, Nicholas, Debra, Aaron, Joylynn, Christina, and Gina Di Donato. Born in Paterson, N.J. he lived in West Paterson before moving to Ringwood in 1966. He was self-employed as a New Home Builder/Realtor for Di Donato Associates in Haskell, N.J. for many years before retiring in the 1980s. Preceeding him in death was a sister: Virginia Agnone Survivors include his wife: The former Eleanor C. Banachowski of Ringwood, N.J. 2 sons: Nicholas Di Donato of Blue Mountain Lakes, P.A. Carlo Di Donato Jr. of Little Egg Harbor, N.J. A sister: Carmella Harty of Lakewood, N.J. A brother: Joseph Di Donato of Wayne, N.J. Also survived by 8 grandchildren.
