Festa, Joseph of Totowa at rest in Wayne on January 16, 2004. Beloved husband of Rose (nee DAmelio) and the late Sarah (nee Rusciano). Father of the late Gerald Festa and Judith Di Minni. Step father of James Miraldi and the late Linda Miraldi. Grandfather of Rosario Di Minni and his wife, Jennifer, Maria Veltri and her husband, Anthony, and Sarah Panebianco, and her husband, Michael. Step grandfather of Kelly Ann Miraldi. Great grandfather of Anthony J. Veltri and Michael Nino Panebianco. Dear Brother of Eleanor Corsetto. Father in law of Georgeann Festa Gosnell and Nino Di Minni. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Monday at 9:00 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. James RC Church, Totowa at 9:30 AM. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. Friends may call Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. OBITUARY
Joseph Festa age 84 of Totowa died Friday. Born in Paterson, NJ he lived in Totowa for over 50 years. He was a Stationary Fire Man for Morton Chemical Co., Paterson before retiring. Prior to that, he worked for Jersey Dye Co., Paterson for many years. Mr. Festa was a Parishioner of St. James RC Church, Totowa. He was a member of the Totowa Boro Republican Club. He was an honorary member of the Happy Seniors of Totowa. He was a life member of the Italian American Independent Club of Totowa. He was a World War II Army veteran. Mr. Festa was a member of the V.F.W. Post #10104, Totowa. He was a member of the Riverside Veterans Club of Hawthorne.
