Taporowski, Alexander J. of North Haledon at rest in Wayne on October 13, 2003. Beloved husband of the late Doris (nee Gurski). Father of Marlene Romano. Long time companion of Thelma Sala. Brother of the late John Taporowski and Bill Taporowski. Grandfather of Lisa Maghenzani and Christina Johnson. Also survived by 4 great-grandsons. Taporowski age 92 of North Haledon died Monday. Born in Paterson, NJ he lived in Paterson before moving to North Haledon 45 years ago. He was a Dye House Worker for Allied Chemical, Haledon, NJ for many years before retiring in 1976. Mr. Taporowski was a parishioner of St. Pauls R.C. Church, Prospect Park, NJ and a member of its senior citizen club. He also was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Haledon.
