Mr. Marchetti has been apart of our lives for a very long time. We have both know him since we were little. He is a very special person and we know he is at rest in heaven. May your family not grieve the loss, but remember all the good times you were able to share together.

Alice Marie Marchetti-De Cicco (your daughter) posted a condolence
Dear Mick, Why did it have to end like this? I suppose it was God's will. God knew you were getting tired, and He didn't want you to suffer. You were always there for me growing up, and even when Tom and I got married you helped us both. Let's face it, you helped everybody. Something you instilled in me from childhood was that you shouldn't try to be better than anyone else by belittleing or berating them. Another classic was to Always Fight For The Underdog. I practice that one as much as possible.
Please forgive me if I have hurt you in any way, or that I couldn't be as good a nurse as Mom. She's the best and she loves you very much. Perhaps I didn't want to see your decline, because that would mean the end could be near. I felt so inadequate and helpless because I didn't know what else to do. I'm sorry.
Mom will be taken care of. You can be assured of that.
I will try to make you proud of me in all aspects of my daily life (especially with all my students at school). If you see I'm going off the track a bit, please just give me a nudge to guide me the right way. Thanks. Please pray for me that I'll do the correct things in life. I did have a great teacher--YOU!
Please give my regards to all my departed relatives and friends. Make sure they are only saying good things and make sure to share all your great jokes with everyone.
One last thing, please stop by and take my dogs for a walk and pet my cats on their heads when you get the chance. Thanks.
I miss you and loved you very much.
Love and Kisses

Mr. Marchetti made me laugh when he was alive, and I'm smiling now just looking at his picture. This was an extraordinary individual, and I told his daughter, my friend Alice, this often.
Henry was kind, smart, and funny. He really liked being who he was--he respected himself. He knew what people liked, and so--he really got along with everyone. Henry was a smart and likeable man. He was a kind man. I should know--he was part of my childhood--I knew this man since I was in Kindergarten. Hank was the kind of man that inspired you to be a better person. This man lived an honorable life. A job well done, Hank!! Patricia Hughes
