Bruno, John A. of Englishtown at rest in Englishtown on May 6, 2004. Former husband of Marie (nee Patrizzi) Bruno. Father of Carolyn Avallone. Father-in-law of Ralph Avallone. Brother of Mary Sciro. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Tuesday at 9:30 A.M. Funeral Mass to follow at St. Gerard R.C. Church, Paterson at 10:00 A.M. Cremation at Cedar Lawn Crematory, Paterson. Friends may call Monday 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. Born in Paterson, NJ he lived in Paterson until moving to Monmouth County in 2003. He was a Manager for Atlantic & Pacific Tea Corporation for several different stores for many years before retiring. After that he worked for the Passaic County Golf Course, Wayne. Mr. Bruno was a W.W. II Army Veteran and a former parishioner of St. Gerard R.C. Church, Paterson, N.J. Survivors include: His former wife: Marie (nee Patrizzi) Bruno of Clifton A daughter: Carolyn Avallone of Manalapan, NJ A sister: Mary Sciro of Paterson, NJ A son-in-law: Ralph Avallone of Manalapan, NJ Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa is in charge of arrangements.
