Dear Aunt Josie,
My husband Tom always had fond memories of you, and told everyone you were his "favorite aunt", but of course you know that.
As for myself, I remember in my younger days when I was riding my bike, or walking with my friend Pat Dillard, stopping to talk with you, Charlie, and Tom's Mom, Vera. (Who knew back then I would marry into the family?) You always inquired about how my Mom and Dad were doing. You were very thoughtful!
Mom remembers the many "chats" you had on St. James corner after morning Mass, and how concerned you were if a fellow parishoner was in need of some prayers.
Now I know you are looking down and sending some prayers in our direction.
