how do you describe the word "friend" when it comes to donna marie? it's like trying to descibe a painting by monet or or a piece of music by mozart. one can only FEEL the depth of her friendship by experiencing it.

Dear Donna, This candle shines brightly in your loving memory! I will miss you terribly, the only consolation I have is that God had taken you into his loving arms and has replaced your pain with eternal happiness & joy! If I could talk to you one more time, I would say thank you - for teaching me so much by your constant example you set for all. Helping so many students in need (always anonymously). Most of all thank you for being my friend, I miss you and I loved you! Pat Lep

There could only be"one" Donna. What an inspiration she was and she probably never realized how very many lives she touched. We started out as first graders together and had alot of good memories from those 12 yrs. at St. Mary's.
Every morning in homeroom she'd say to me"Give me your homework to copy" and before every CYO dance we'd go by Carole and have her tease our hair "sky high".Lunchtimes were spent at Sun Ray Pizza or Netzer's. Donna's sense of humor will forever be a part of my wonderful memories of her.I will miss you. Claire

Dear Michele,
I don't know if you will remember me I worked for Dr. Barnet (Jan). I was so sorry to hear about Donna. You have my deepest sympathy. Donna was a wonderful person and always a pleasure to see. I have taken care of many patients over the years, but few have touched my heart. Donna was one of those few, as were all of your family and especially you. I know how hard this is for you and I am so sorry. You will be in my thoughts and prayers. God must have needed someone very special, and choose one of Earth's finest to be with Him. God bless you and help you to get through this very difficult time.
Love,
Jan

Who would drive around in June in the mid-sixties, with a car jam-packed full of friends, and all the windows rolled up "so people will think we have air conditioning" ? ... only Donna. The radio was deafening, the cigarette smoke was a fog that saturated our hair and uniforms, we were always late getting back to school, and we laughed until we wet ourselves. It's nice to sit here and remember and think of her. Donna burned bright ... if her life was short, it was also vibrant. You just couldn't be sad with Donna--she was silly and smart and hysterical, with a generosity of spirit that's rare and humbling. My guess is that after God hugged her Home, he scratched his head, and heaved a sigh and said, "Okay, but just because it's you, Donna ... you've got a special dispensation to raise a just a little hell in heaven." And I bet she's doing just that. Love and blessings, Rosemary
