Giacalone and his wife Rachel A. Reed. Grandfather of Christopher P. Giacalone. Son of Paolo Giacalone and the late Rosalia (nee La Fata) Giacalone. Brother of Maria Architetto, Franca Caccamo and Nicolo Giacalone. Also surviving are many Nieces and Nephews. OBITUARY Salvatore Giacalone age 69 of Wayne died Saturday at home. Born in Mazara del Vallo, Sicily, Italy he came to the U.S.A. in 1967 settling in Wayne. He was a Pipe Fitter for Hoffmann-La Roche Inc., Nutley, N.J. for 22 years before retiring in 1995. Mr. Giacalone was a member of the Sons of Italy, Wayne, N.J.
