Mercadante, Sylvia (nee Finamore) of Little Falls at rest in Pequannock on December 29, 2005. Beloved wife of the late Joseph Mercadante. Mother of Jean Moretta. Sister of Joseph Finamore, Mildred Lockhart and Julia Messino. Also survived by 2 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Born in Paterson, NJ she lived in Paterson before moving to Little Falls in 1970. She was a silk worker for Paterson Silk Works, Paterson, NJ. She then was a seamstress for Cetranos, Paterson, NJ, then worked as a salesclerk for Johns Bargain Store, Paterson. Mrs. Mercadante was a parishioner of St. Philip the Apostle Church, Clifton, NJ.
