I got to know Pete through the choir at OLC. What A VOICE!!!!!!! He was so powerful, and "Always" and I mean "Always" put his heart and soul into his singing.
I was honored to be asked to sing at his daughter Laurie's wedding, and I remember him asking me to sing "Amazing Grace" because it was his favorite, and he wanted to sing it with me. Last minute he "thought" he got cold feet, but at the very very last minute, and I mean the very last minute he changed his mind, and did it alone. What a job he did!!!! A beautiful tribute to his daughter on the day of her marriage.
I remember cantoring at OLC during Lent, and Pete asked if we could sing together his favorite Lenten song. He loved "Were You There", and everyone knew he was there. Again what a voice!
But Pete was also a very kind, and forgiving person. He always saw the bright side of difficult situations. He was a great person.
I send my deepest sympathy to the entire family, and my only regret is, that I will never have another opportunity to sing with Pete. It was an honor to be his friend. Nadine

Saying goodbye to a man I admired deeply is very difficult and almost impossible to put into words. To truly encompass my respect for Mr. Lobosco would be to say that he taught me the value of family and its importance. His kindness was infectious. He hugged, kissed and embraced everyone and made them feel like family. He made me wish I had such a loving father. My pain for the sorrow felt for the Lobosco family is indescibable. Such wonderful people do not deserve to lose such a wonderful man so untimely. I send my love and support to the family. And, to my best friend Lori, my heart is broken for your terrible loss. I can only hope that I can be there for you to help ease the pain if at all . Continue your fathers legacy to shower the world with love and compassion which will allow his true purpose to life on forever.... I know I will take a piece of what I have learned from him with me always. With much love and unwavering support, Vikki xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxox
