Gruppo, Joseph N. of Paterson at rest in Paterson on August 3, 2006. Beloved husband of Jacquelyn (nee Gilligan) Gruppo. Father of John Gruppo, Sr. and his wife Ruth, Nancy Semmel and her husband Mark and April Gilligan. Brother of Mary Raimond and the late Salvatore Gruppo. Also survived by 5 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and 2 great nephews. He was a Construction Worker for Local #239, Paterson, NJ for many years before retiring. He was a member and past grand knight of the Knights of Columbus St Gerard, Council #7028, Paterson, NJ. He was a former member of Msgr. Stein Assembly 4th Degree Knights of Columbus, Clifton. He was a National Guard Veteran. He was a parishioner of St. Gerard R.C. Church, Paterson, NJ.
