Vereschagin, Michael Sr. of Totowa at rest in Wayne on May 19, 2003. Beloved husband of the late Olga (nee Klein). Father of John Wereschagin, Valentin Vereschagin, Victor Vereschagin, Michael Vereschagin Jr., Helen Smith, and Jeanie Tolvay. Also survived by 15 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral at St. Michaels Russian Orthodox Cathedral, Sherman Avenue, Paterson, NJ on Friday at 9:00 AM. Interment to follow at the Cemetery of the Novo Diveyevo Russian Orthodox Convent, Spring Valley, NY. Friends may call Wednesday 7-9 PM and Thursday 2-4 PM at Festa Memorial Funeral Home 111 Union Blvd., Totowa. Prayer service will be Thursday 5:00 PM at St. Michaels Russian Orthodox Cathedral. He lived in Totowa since 1970. Mr. Vereschagin was a Retired Welder for Falstrom Co., Passaic, NJ. Mr. Vereschagin was a member of St. Michaels Russian Orthodox Cathedral, Paterson. Preceeding him in death was his wife: Olga (nee Klein) Vereschagin Survivors include 4 sons: John Wereschagin of West Caldwell, Valentin Vereschagin of Bloomingdale Victor Vereschagin of Budd Lake Michael Vereschagin Jr. of Totowa 2 daughters: Helen Smith of Palisades Park Jeanie Tolvay of Saddle Brook Also survived by 15 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Boulevard, Totowa is in charge of arrangements.
