Frank Tauro you were coming every year at the Feast of the Holy Doctors in Alberobello, smiling and happy to see relatives and friends. Smiling and happy you were when we came to visit you in Totowa in May 2008 and you showed us your rich garden and offered us the wine made by you. We will always have a great memory of you. The nephews of Pietro Sollenne, Nicola and Maria Antonietta Giuliani from Alberobello.

Jo, I was saddened to read of your Dad's passing today. He was a very lucky man to have such a loving family. I will always remember being at your house and the amazing smells that came from your kitchen, your mom and dad always so welcoming. I know he's with your mom now watching over your family.
Always,

Dearest Grandpa Francesco, what an amazing person you are. You embody so many titles, it's hard to keep track - Son, Brother, Student, Husband, Father, Companion, Teacher, Premiere Chef, Friend, Gardener, Wine Maker, but what I hold most dear to my heart, Grandfather. You were truly the patriarch to our family and the best one any family could every ask for. You taught your grandchildren to study, work hard, get an education, eat well (and finish what is left on the plate!), all while exuding so much love and compassion. I will always remember dancing with you at my high school graduation party and again at our wedding. I will miss that so much, what an amazing dancer you are! You swung me around with a huge smile on your face and I will never forget that. I will cherish every memory I have of you and our delectable family dinners. I love to try to cook meals that we enjoyed when we were growing up with you. You will forever be in my heart and your spirit will always surround us. We are truly blessed to have had you in our lives. You have inspired so many people, more than you will ever know. I miss you so much and it brings a smile to my face thinking of you dancing in heaven with Grandma Rina. I love you forever and always & you are always in my heart - near and far.

Grandpa, thank you for all of the lessons you taught me in my childhood. You taught me about setting high goals, keeping a strong work ethic, and always staying focused. Those characteristics are what I embody everyday as I chase my athletic, academic, and career aspirations. Also, you always stressed the importance of family but having everyone over for your delicious italian feasts on Sundays. Thinking back on those days fills my mind with wonderful memories and leaves my mouth watering for more of your delicious fresh and healthy meals! You have set quite a benchmark for all of us to attempt to live up to! We will all do our best to make you proud :) Love you <3

Dear Dad – As a father, you taught me many things in life. One thing you told me is to have good health and eat right. I always loved when you gave me vegetables from your garden, and I would take them home to steam them for dinner. I will forever treasure the memories of our father-daughter dance at my wedding when you asked me, “You picked this song? and how you swung me around the dance floor. Most of all, Dad, I will remember those special family gatherings – at Christmas, your birthday parties, and Sunday dinners. I will always have a special place in my heart for you. I love you with all my heart.

Dear Frank - I will always cherish the memories I have of us trimming that fig tree and the rose bushes together every time I visited you. I have so many fond memories of you, especially all those Sunday dinners we shared as a family when you said, "That's your meal!". You introduced me to wine and espresso. I will always remember how you accepted me into your heart and your family from day one. I couldn't have asked for a more caring, loving father-in-law. You will live in my heart and soul forever. I love you.
