Palenchar, Concetta "Connie" (nee Di Pasquale) age 80 of Wantage at rest in Wantage on April 1, 2011. Born in Paterson on November 29, 1930, she graduated from St. Anthony's Catholic School, Paterson in 1944. She attended Mary Help of Christians Academy, North Haledon. Mrs. Palenchar was married on October 3, 1953 and moved to Greensburg, PA, where she was the proprietor of Connie's Mill End Store. After moving back to Paterson, she worked at Gulf Plastics, Totowa then Fava's Market, Paterson. She retired from Manhattan Industries, Glen Rock, where she was a Union Representative of the Amalgamated Clothing and Textile Workers Union, Local #160. During her life she also lived in Palisades Park then Oakland for 10 years before moving to Wantage 3 years ago. She was a parishioner of St. Monica's R.C. Church, Sussex. Beloved wife of the late Joseph L. Palenchar. Loving mother of Mary Lynn Sensale and her husband Charles of Wantage and Joseph Palenchar and his wife Sonia of Oakland. Grandmother of Cam and Diana. Step grandmother of Jason and Julian Voss. Sister of Theresa Wisher of Wantage and the late Jean Iaconio, Mary De Carlo and George Di Pasquale. Also survived by many nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa on Wednesday at 9:30 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. Anthony R.C. Church, Paterson at 10:00 A.M. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. Friends may call Monday 7-9 PM and Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. .
