There are places I remember
All my life, though some have changed
Some forever not for better
Some have gone and some remain
All these places have their moments
With lovers and friends I still can recall
Some are dead and some are living
In my life I've loved them all
But of all these friends and lovers
There is no one compares with you
...
Though I know I'll never lose affection
For people and things that went before
I know I'll often stop and think about them
In my life I love you more

To the Traina Family,
We would like to extend our deepest sympathy on the passing of Lorraine.
She always kept a positive attitude during her illness and gave many others comfort who were also diagnosed with breast cancer.
She, Laurie Maes and my sister, Lois DePreker all went through school together and remained friends for 50 years. They still managed to keep in touch even though they were separated geographically.
Whenever my sister Lois came up from NC, we often met to catch up with each other's lives.
May you find comfort in knowing that Lorraine is now in God's kingdom.
God bless and take care.
Maryann DePreker Ackerman & husband Ed

With Lorraine's passing the light of the world seems to have dimmed. Her unabased joy and warmth, her easy laugh, her great big smile that made her eyes crinkle with delight all made the world a warmer, brighter, easier place. No matter what tragedy befell Lorraine, three things were certain: she would hit it head on and rise above it; she would be supported by Anthony, her lifelong love, who was always her rock, firmly beside her; and as long as her kids Mark, Christoper and Carolyn were happy and healthy, all was right with her world anyways. We love you Lorraine. Lisa and Dan Peterson

Joe & Gerio Cattelona posted a condolence
Our Dear Friend Lorraine,
He takes our loved ones from us,
We know not the reasons why.
We can only comprehend the sorrows in our hearts
From the moment their souls bless the sky.
...He picks them like flowers from a field,
Some prepared for his presence,
Some without a chance to yield.
He'll choose them and leave alone the others.
It doesn't matter if the ones he chose
Are someone's Brothers, Sisters, best friends or Mothers.
But somehow, when reminiscing, after all the tears are cried,
We remember all the reasons we loved them,
And know with all our hearts,
Why God himself would want them by his side.
Our Thoughts and Love are with you, Anthony and your Family.
