I just put down my local paper and called my family right away! My heart was broken to see that Mr S had passed ! He was by far my FAVORITE customer at our family buisness APOLLO CARDS and Flags. I always smiled when he was there! It was a pleasure knowiung him! We all just adored him and I have missed seeing him since I stopped working to raise my baby. I feel so awful (we all do) that we did not know about this sooner. We would have been there to pay our respects to his beautiful family.Forgive us. Please know that all of your friends at Apollo Crads are thinking of you and praying for him and the entire family. He was a WONDERFUL human being and a true gentleman! He will be sadly missed. We have no doubt that he is seeing beautiful horizons up in Heaven- NOT surprised that God wanted him "home". Who would'nt? ;)
Please accept our heartfelt deepest condolences.
Sincerely,
Kimberly Aliano,
The Potenzone Family & His friends/ staff at Apollo Cards and Flags in Totowa

My deepest sympathy Nancy to you and your family. It is so sad to see the last living Sarsfield of his generation leave this earth, but know they are all together once again.
I have so many memories of this beautiful family of Sarsfield and Conahan. As you know my family lived next door until I was 7 yrs old and they truly were my second family. They remained a big part of our lives. I miss them all (Bee, Jim, Mamie, Maggie, Bob and Gert).
My best memory was Christmas morning after Luke stayed up all nite putting together a pink kitchen set for me. I loved it and he was very proud.
Your family will remain forever in my heart and prayers!

Luke was one of the kindest most gracious people I ever knew. Someday I'll tell you how he protected me from the kitchen mouse. So funny.
He has been and always will be in my thoughts and in my heart.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the Sarsfield family. Mr. Sarsfield was a gentleman and was always extremely kind to our family. I have wonderful memories of playing soccer with his son Luke and will always remember Mr. Sarsfield’s genuineness, intelligence and class.
God Bless
