Pawloski, Kasmer S. age 87 of Totowa at rest in Fair Lawn on November 30, 2010. Beloved husband of Mary (nee Halat) Pawloski of Totowa. Loving Father of Bernice DeMeritt of Totowa, Roger Pawloski of Honesdale, PA and Elaine LaRose of Haledon. He was predeceased by his step-sister Katherine Manning, his step-brothers John and Leonard Ludwikowski, his brothers Ted and Joseph Pawloski, his sister Jean Poch and his grandson Brian Keith Moser. He is survived by 4 grandchildren Kris Moser, Greg LaRose, Paul Pawloski and Kimberly LaRose. He is also survived by 3 great-grandchildren Brandon, Jenna and Kayla. Born in West Wyoming, PA he lived most of his life in Totowa. He was a Senior Project Mechanical Engineer for Bendix/Allied Signal, Teterboro for many years before retiring in 1986. He was the chaplain and member of the American Legion Post #227, Totowa. He was a WW II Army Veteran - Division 572, AAA AW BN. He was a parishioner and usher at St. James R.C. Church, Totowa and president of their Holy Name Society and was a life and charter member of its Knights of Columbus Council #6574. He was the treasurer for the Boy Scouts Pac 26 and a coach for little league. He was the recipient of the Passaic County Fr. O'Driscoll Chaplain Award. He was the past Grand Marshall of the Totowa Borough Memorial Day Parade. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Saturday at 8:30 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. James R.C. Church, Totowa at 9:00 AM. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. Friends may call Friday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations to NJ State Organization of Cystic Fibrosis, PO Box 3648, Wayne, NJ 07474-3648 would be appreciated.
