Cervino, Celeste "Chee" (nee Fontanella), age 89 of Franklin Lakes at rest in Lincoln Park on November 15, 2010. Beloved wife of the late Frank Cervino. Sister of Rev. Andrew Fontanella of Crisfield, MD, Dr. Stephen J. Fontanella and his wife Renee of Toms River and the late Richard Fontanella, Loretta Massaro, Josephine Micozzi and Alfred Fontanella. Sister in-law of Joan Fontanella, Margaret Fontanella and the late Henry Massaro. Aunt of Alfred J. Fontanella and his wife Carolyn of Totowa, Andrew Fontanella of Baltimore, MD, James Fontanella and his wife Marilyn of Totowa, Dr. Daniel Fontanella and his wife Gina of Paterson, Paul Fontanella and his wife Alexandra of Totowa, Dr. David Fontanella of Clifton, Therese Manzi and her husband Marco of Totowa, Lucia Cardona and her husband Peter of Wayne, Joan Rivera and her husband Peter of Andover, Thomas Massaro of Philadelphia, PA, Linda Missbrenner of Clifton, Janice Massaro of Belleville, Andrew Massaro and his wife Brooke of Raleigh, NC, Gregory Micozzi of Royal Palm Beach, FL, Celeste Bordino and her husband Ben of Totowa, Stephen P. Fontanella and his wife Lisa of Far Hills, Lucienne Morse and her husband Jonathan of Toms River, Danielle Marler and her husband William of Toms River, Jaclyn P. Fontanella of Washington, DC, Andrea Fontanella of Toms River, Anthony Taibi and his wife Claire of Hawthorne, Frank Taibi and his wife Stephanie of Hampton, Joan Marie Feldcamp and her husband Russ of Cincinnati, OH, and Michael P. Cervino, Jr. and his wife Bonnie of Salt Lake City, UT. Survivors also include thirty-two great nieces and nephews, two great-great nephews, many cousins, neighbors, friends and her beloved pets, Precious and Cozzie. Born in Paterson, she lived there till 1950 before moving to Franklin Lakes in 1951. She was a Registered Nurse for Paterson General Hospital and Alps Manor Nursing Home. After that she worked for Russ Berrie, Oakland before retiring in 1996. Celeste was active in the Alumni Association of Paterson General Hospital. She created beauty both in her home and garden. She took an interest in her nieces and nephews, was generous to them and attended their memorable events. She was a defender of the innocent and donated generously to children's organizations, medical, religious, missionary and animal organizations. Her family wishes to extend their sincere thanks to all who visited Celeste in the last few months of her life. Special thanks to the staff of Lincoln Park Rehab and Renaissance Centers who gave such attention, compassionate and gentle care to Celeste, the past few months of her life. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, on Friday at 8:30 AM. Visitation will be Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral Mass to follow at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, Oakland at 9:30 AM. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. In lieu of flowers, donations to Our Lady of Perpetual Help, 7 Loyola Place, Oakland, NJ 07436-3505, for their outreach program or The Salesian Missions, 2 Le Fevre Lane, New Rochelle, NY 10801-5710, would be appreciated.
