Obituary of Rosemarie Aquino

Aquino, Rosemarie age 49 of Totowa lost a long battle with Multiple Sclerosis on November 10, 2010. Born in Paterson, she lived in Paterson until 1970, then in Hawthorne before moving to Totowa. Sissy was a waitress for Horizon Diner, Ramsey and was the head waitress for Joseph's Night Club, Hawthorne for many years. She was also a self employed DJ in Northern NJ known as Rockin Ro. She was a parishioner of St. Anthony's R.C. Church, Hawthorne, NJ - She received all of her sacraments at St. Anthony's. Beloved mother of Dana Marie Artsma & her fianc Brian. Dear daughter of JoAnn Marra & her longtime companion Paul, and Ernest Aquino Jr. & his wife, Elaine. Loving sister of Perry & his wife, Lori, John, Donna, and Bill. Devoted Grandmother Nanny. Step sister of Marlana and Nick & his wife, Lisa. Survivors include 2 nieces, Stacie and Casie, and a nephew, Perry Jr. and a great niece, Gianna. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Monday at 8:30 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. Anthony's R.C. Church, Hawthorne at 9:30 AM. Entombment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery Mausoleum, Totowa. Friends may call Saturday 7-9 PM and Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 PM.
