Ziegler, Milton Raymond a Totowa resident of 54 years at rest in Wayne on September 8, 2005. Beloved husband of the late Eleanor F. (nee Eickhorn) Ziegler. Father of Gretchen Stawicki and Marc, Todd and Robin Ziegler. Grandfather of Matthew, Laura and Todd Ziegler Jr. and Kasandra and Zachary Stawicki. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Monday at 10:00 A.M. Entombment to follow at Laurel Grove Mausoleum, Totowa. Friends may call Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Mr. Ziegler was a WWII Army veteran having served from November 1941 to December 1945. He received two Purple Hearts while serving as combat infantryman with the 100th Infantry Division in Europe. OBITUARY Milton Raymond Ziegler age 85 of Totowa died Thursday. Born in Lyndhurst, NJ he lived in Jersey City before moving to Totowa in 1951. He was a Pipe Fitter for Western Electric Co., Kearny, NJ for 42 years before retiring in 1982. He was a WW II Army veteran having served from November 1941 to December 1945, receiving two Purple Hearts while serving as a combat infantryman with the 100th Infantry Division in Europe. In addition, he was the receipient of the European-African-Middle Eastern Service Medal, American Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal and World War II Victory Medal. He was active with the F&AM and the Telephone Pioneers. He was also a scout master for Totowa Troop 25, Boy Scouts of America. He was involved with the Recreation Department Girls Softball. He was a member of the Happy Seniors and a member of the Totowa United Methodist Church, Totowa. Preceeding him in death was his wife: Eleanor F. (nee Eickhorn) Ziegler Survivors include: 2 sons: Marc Ziegler of Montville, NJ, Todd Ziegler of Lithia, FL 2 daughters: Robin Ziegler of Baltimore, MD, Gretchen Stawicki of Wayne, NJ Also survived by 5 grandchildren. Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa is in charge of arrangements.
