Obituary of Antoinette La Porta

La Porta, Antoinette (nee Mastromauro), age 95 of Paterson at rest in Paterson on October 1, 2010. Beloved wife of the late Bernard La Porta (1975). Loving Mother of Bernard La Porta of Hawthorne, Matthew La Porta of Little Falls, and the late Joseph La Porta. Beloved grandmother of Gina La Porta of Cedar Grove and Damon La Porta of Iowa. Loving aunt of Joanne Reed of Old Bridge, Roy Frasco of Little Falls, and Mary Ellen Rizzo of Denville. Great Grandmother of Giavanni Escamilla of Cedar Grove. She is also survived by many cousins living in Australia. Antoinette is pre-deceased by her sister Caroline Frasco and her brother Anthony Mastromauro. Born in Passaic, she lived in Paterson for most of her life. She was an assembler for Bright Star Industries for 17 years before retiring in 1978. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home on Tuesday at 9:30 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. Michaels R.C. Church, Paterson at 10:00 AM. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. Relatives and friends may call Monday 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM.
