Galese, William Sr. age 79 of Wayne at rest in Wayne on September 17, 2010. Born in Paterson, he lived in Paterson for most of his life before moving to Wayne in 1989. He was the President of Joy Manufacturing Company, Ozone Park, NY before retiring. Prior to that, he was the Director of Operations for Curtis Wright Woodridge. Mr. Galese was a navy veteran of the Korean Conflict.
Beloved husband of the former Constance Cielo of Wayne. Loving Father of William Galese, Jr. & his wife, Maria of Fairfield and Robert Galese & his wife, Linda of Kinnelon. Grandfather of Christina, William III and Sarah. Brother of Diane Brown & her husband Edward of Jackson. Brother in law of Louis Scialla of Totowa. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services at the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa on Monday at 10:00 AM. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. Friends may call Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. For more information, go to www.festamemorial.com.
