Jacene, Carmen age 80 of Totowa at rest in Paterson on February 9, 2013. Beloved husband of Margaret Susani DiGiulio of Totowa, and the late Patricia (nee Savastano) Jacene. Loving Father of Joann DeVoe & her husband Arthur of Lattimore, NC and Carmen Jacene Jr. of Sarasota, FL. Brother of the late Anthony Jacene, Josephine (Jay) Bastante, Rose Jacene, and Pauline Dowling. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Born in Paterson, he lived in Paterson, then North Haledon before moving to Totowa in 1997. He was a Postal Worker for U.S. Post Office, Haledon for 30 years before retiring in 2010. Prior to that, he was a Supervisor for the Ford Motor Company, Mahwah for 28 years. Mr. Jacene was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Armenian Catholic Church, Little Falls and was a member of the Seniors of Our Lady of Pompeii RC Church, Paterson. He was a former member of the North Haledon Volunteer Fire Company #1. He was a lifetime member of the N.J. Fire Association and a former Fire Inspector for North Haledon. He was a Korean War Army Veteran and a member of the D.A.V., Clifton City Chapter #2 and the V.F.W. #5702, Franklin Lakes. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Thursday at 9:15 AM. Funeral mass to follow at Sacred Heart Armenian Catholic Church, Little Falls at 10:00 AM. Cremation will be private. Visitation will be Wednesday 2-8 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations to Sacred Heart Armenian Catholic Church, 155 Long Hill Road Little Falls, NJ 07424 and/or the Our Lady of Pompeii RC Church 70 Murray Avenue, Paterson, NJ 07501 would be appreciated.
