Claro, Jeanne L. (nee Weigh), age 60 of Wayne at rest in Pequannock on June 16, 2010. Beloved wife of Leo Claro of Wayne. Dear Daughter of Loretta (nee Storm) Weigh of Wayne and the late Ernest Weigh. Sister of Gerald Weigh and his wife Sharon of NC. Aunt of Jennifer and Jessica Weigh. Niece of Rosie Schultz of NC. Survivors include several cousins. Born in Paterson, she lived in Paterson, Clifton, and Hawthorne before moving to Wayne. Mrs. Claro was a graduate of Clifton High School Class of 1967, Clifton. She was co-founder of C.A.S.A (Citizens Against Spot Assessment) 1985. In the 1980's she served on the Board of Paterson Historical District. She graduated with the first class of "Leadership Paterson" and was an "EST" Graduate. She was an Employee Benefits Administrator for Cyanamid/Wyath, Wayne for thirty years before retiring. "She will be remembered as someone who always tried to be involved and make a difference and certainly will be missed by her family and all of her friends." Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service at the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, on Saturday at 9:30 AM. Committal prayers to follow at Laurel Grove Crematory Chapel, Totowa. Friends may call Friday 2-4 & 7-9 PM. For more information, go to www.festamemorial.com.
