Barone, Maria Rosa (nee Guarnieri), age 101 of Paterson at rest in Paterson on May 26, 2010. Beloved wife of the late Francesco Barone (1937). Loving Mother of Domenico Barone of Totowa, Joseph Barone of Paterson, Francesca Lucchetto and Maria Mandarino both of West Village, NY. Grandmother of Maria, Frank, Olga, Daniela, Louis, Joseph, Christine, Susan, Anthony, and Alfredo. Great grandmother of nine. Born in Cosenza City, Italy she came to the United States in 1956 residing in West Village, NY until 1959, then Little Falls until 1979 before moving to Paterson. She was a Seamstress in NY then in Paterson before retiring in 1970. Maria was a parishioner of Our Lady of Pompeii R.C. Church, Paterson. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, on Saturday at 10:15 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at Our Lady of Pompeii R.C.
