Marchese, Frank A. age 94 of Paterson went home to be with his lord and savior on May 18, 2010. Loving Father of Vincent T. Marchese of Paterson and Lily M. Novack and her husband Fred of Pompton Lakes. Adoring Grandfather of Beth-Ann Damiano. Great Grandfather of Jemy, Trinity and Grace Damiano. Brother of the late Carleen Marchese (1995). Survivors include his beloved cat, Rusty. Born in Paterson, he was a lifelong city resident. He was an Inspector for Textile Piece Dye, Paterson for many years before retiring in 1981. Mr. Marchese played the trumpet, loved music and was an accomplished artist and painter who showed his work at the Paterson Museum. He worked under the Roosevelt Administration as a WPA artist. He was a man of culture and a loving single father of strong faith who instilled faith and dignity in his son and daughter. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service at the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Friday at 10:00 AM. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. Friends may call Friday 9:00 to 10:00 AM. Donations to Valley Chapel, 300 Valley Rd., Clifton, NJ 07013 would be appreciated.
