Obituary of Roy L Armstrong

Armstrong, Roy L. age, 86 of Totowa died April 1, 2010. Mr. Armstrong was a broadcast engineer for nearly fifty years, primarily at ABC TV until his retirement in 1996. He began his career at channel 13 and later joined NBC. He served as a Navy Radioman in the South Pacific during WWII. Predeceased by his daughter Cathy, he is survived by his wife Hilda, his daughters Arlene Monte and Lisa Schipp, three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He is also survived by a brother William, and sisters Anita, Irma, Madeline and Sarah. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a graveside service on Tuesday April 6, 2010 at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 52 Totowa Road, Totowa at 10:00 AM. The family will receive friends Saturday April 3, 2010 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Bld., Totowa.
