Barb, I still remember how patient your mom was giving me an injection. I was a terrible patient, and she talked me through it. Heaven has gained 2 more angels.

MOM,
AT THIS SAD TIME IN MY LIFE, I CAN NOT THINK OF YOU WITH OUT BRINGING A SMILE TO MY FACE. YOUR LAUGHTER LIT UP A ROOM AND YOU ARE LOVED BY EVERYONE WHO MET YOU.
AS A MOTHER YOU WERE ALWAYS THERE FOR ME, AND YOU NEVER SAT IN JUDGMENT OF ANYONE. YOU NEVER TURNED ANYONE AWAY, AND YOUR HEART WAS ALWAYS OPEN, AS A MOTHER AND A FRIEND.
IN YOU MOM, I HAD BOTH AND THAT MAKES ME A BETTER PERSON.
GOD NEEDED A SPECIAL ANGEL, AND CALLED YOU HOME.
REST IN PEACE MOM, YOU WILL ALWAYS BE IN MY HEART AND I LOVE YOU.
YOUR DAUGHTER
MARY ELLEN

I will never forget visiting my Great-Grandmother. I used to call her my little princess & she would always answer back (Poo Poo - from the movie My Big Fat Greek Wedding). I am lucky to have known her. I will miss her.

The world has lost an amazing & strong woman. A rare breed and one of the original working mothers. We are lucky to have had her for every bit of her 94 years. She will be missed, but I cannot help but smile when I think about her and all of the fantastic memories she left us with.

Dear Family: Aunt Jess and Uncle Andy were the backbone of the Temple/Pierce clan. You always felt welcomed. Their kids did the same, always a happy lot. I wish we visited more but our age groups were so different. Plus, hardly anyone drove in the 1950's. But Andy Jess were always so quick with a joke in a nice way. I enjoyed those picnics but boy did young George scare the heck out of us about crossing the metal bridge over the Passaic River! My father Albert Pierce loved your family alot. You were so dear to him. Like I said, everybody loved the Temple's even though we couldn't keep their names straight. I remember at Grandpa Allie and Mabel's house with my father, waiting for Andy to appear on a TV show, juggling. Maybe this was 1956? The memories will flow at the funeral home and I know that gradually the great Temple humor will help us all come to gripes with life and death. Although you all live so far from each other, I know that you will make the extra effort to stay in touch with each of the Temple "kids". Maybe you can send me a picture of the temple house from way back when. It could be a sense of serenity and a reminder of the past nice people who were on this earth. I also miss Aunt Ellie.
