Obituary of Joan Martin

Martin, Joan (nee De Pretto), age 77 of Paterson at rest in Wayne on March 11, 2010. Beloved wife of the late Wayne C. Martin. Loving Mother of Fr. Robert Wisniefski, Pastor at St. Joseph's R.C. Church, Paterson, Clifford Martin of Paterson and Georgine Kucharyk and her husband Roman of Mt. Airy, MD. Grandmother of Raymond Martin Kucharyk and Matthew Wayne Kucharyk. Born in Paterson, she was a lifelong city resident. Joan was an Inspector for Bendix/Allied Signal Co., Teterboro for forty-five years before retiring. She was an avid retiree Committeeperson and Treasurer for Bendix. She was a parishioner of St. Joseph's R.C. Church, Paterson. A homemaker and devoted mother, she enjoyed crocheting. Mrs. Martin enjoyed helping others and she worked in the medical library at St. Joseph's Hospital, Paterson after retiring. Relatives and friends are invited to meet at St. Joseph's R.C. Church, Paterson, on Monday at 10:00 AM for a concelebrated Funeral Mass. Committal prayers to follow at Cedar Lawn Crematory Chapel., Paterson.
