Obituary of Rose M. Vickerilla

Vickerilla, Rose M. (nee D'Amelio) age 85 of Totowa at rest in Totowa on February 20, 2010. Born in Paterson, she lived in Totowa the past 61 years. She was the co-founder of Hughie's Red Kettle, Totowa, 40 years ago. Rose was a parishioner of St. James RC Church, Totowa and a member of the Passaic Valley Elks Lodge #2111, Ladies Auxiliary. She was a member of the Totowa Boro Republican Club and loved cooking and being with her family. Beloved wife of Hubert "Hughie" C. Vickerilla of Totowa. Loving Mother of Hughie Vickerilla Jr., & his wife, Beverly of Totowa, Marie Vickerilla of Margaretville, NY, Lynn Smith & her husband, Scott of Totowa, and Jane Lay of Grays Lake, Ill. Sister of Anthony D'Amelio of Totowa, Ross D'Amelio of West Milford, Ann D'Amelio of Paterson, and Jennie Cranfield of New Orleans, LA. Also survived by 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Thursday at 9:15 AM.
