Obituary of Margaret Brightman

Brightman, Margaret (nee Vermeulen) age 86 of Wayne formerly of Paterson at rest in Wayne on January 19, 2010. Beloved wife of the late Cornelius "Neil" Brightman, (2000). Loving Mother of Gregg L Brightman and his wife Gail of Bloomingdale and Kent D Brightman and his wife Donna of Wayne. Grandmother of Gregg Brightman, Kelly Thompson, Daniel Brightman and the late Courtney F. Brightman, (1997). Great Grandmother of Nicholas D Thompson. Aunt of Gary and Kenny Kuiken. Born in Paterson, she lived in Paterson for most of her life before moving to Wayne eight years ago. She was the Head Cashier at J.F.K. High School Cafeteria, Paterson for nineteen years before retiring in 1986. Mrs. Brightman was a member of the Preakness Baptist Church, Wayne. She was a member of the Haledon Vets Auxiliary. She loved to crochet and knit. The greatest joy in her life was her grandchildren and her family. In her younger years, she was a majorette in the Eastside High School Marching Band. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service at the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, on Saturday at 11:00 AM. Entombment to follow at Laurel Grove Mausoleum, Totowa. Friends may call Friday 7-9 PM only.
