Obituary of Raymond Gibney

Gibney, Raymond "My Card", age 81 of Wayne at rest in Wayne on January 8, 2010. Beloved husband of the late Marilou (nee Marsilio) Gibney. Loving Father of Michele Calamaras and her husband Nicholas of Clifton, Mary Tookmanian and her husband Gerry of Wayne, and Martha Jurewicz and her husband Robert of Pompton Plains. Brother of George Gibney and his wife Mary Ann of Wayne, Henry Gibney and his wife Iris of Little Egg Harbor and the late Lawrence Gibney. Also survived by 9 grandchildren and 9 nieces and nephews. Born in Paterson, he lived in Paterson, then Clifton before moving to Wayne 20 years ago. He was a Building Contractor and owner of Trades Incorporated, Clifton before retiring. Mr. Gibney was a lifelong member of Sacred Heart Armenian Catholic Church, Little Falls and head of its building committee. He was a member of the Stanley Levine Breakfast Club and the MG Club of America. He was also a building dispute arbitrator for Passaic County. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Wednesday at 9:15 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at Sacred Heart Armenian Catholic Church, Little Falls at 10:00 AM. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa . Friends may call Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9 PM.
