Dear Pat and family --- I was deeply saddened by the news of your mother's death last weekend. I can still recall as it if were just a few years ago the hours you and I spent as children in the late 1950's growing up just a few doors away from each other on Paterson Ave. I can recall your mother's beautiful smile and raven black hair. How she loved your father and you, Susan and Ralph! I know that it has been quite some time since we have been in contact --- I would guess that it is probably more than 40 years --- but I wanted to express my deepest sympathy to you and your family on this overwhelming loss.
