Aunt of Mary Castelein and Eugene W. Serra. Great aunt of David and Megan. Born in Prospect Park, NJ she lived all of her life in Prospect Park before moving to Boonton Twsp. 3 years ago. She was a School Teacher for Bergenfield High School, Bergenfield and for Ramapo High School, Franklin Lakes for many years before retiring in 1991. Prior to that she was a newspaper reporter for the Paterson Evening News in Paterson for 10 years. Ms. Serra was a parishioner of St. Pauls R.C. Church, Prospect Park, NJ. Preceeding her in death was her sister: Mary King Survivors include: A brother: Eugene M. Serra of Rockaway, NJ Also survived by a sister-in-law, a niece and a nephew and a great-niece and a great-nephew. Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa is in charge of arrangements.
