Obituary of Dorothy Aumenta

Aumenta, Dorothy "Dotty" (nee Pirone) age 65 of Paterson at rest in Wayne on September 3, 2009. Beloved wife of James Aumenta of Paterson. Loving Mother of Patricia Schwarz and her husband John of Pompton Lakes and Peter Aumenta and his wife Helena of Haskell, Wanaque Twsp. Cherished Grandmother of Ryan and Erin Schwarz and James and Jacqueline Aumenta. Dear Sister of Patricia Brown of Long Pond, PA, Carol Orosz of Paterson and William Pirone of Little Falls. Also surviving are many Nieces and Nephews. Born in Paterson, she was a lifelong resident of the city. She was Head Cashier for Pathmark Supermarket, Woodland Park for twenty years before retiring in 2005. Mrs. Aumenta was a member of Local 1262. She was past president of St. Gerard R.C. School PTA and a member of the School Board. Mrs. Aumenta was dedicated to her family. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, on Wednesday at 9:30 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. John's Cathedral, Paterson at 10:00 AM. Committal service at Cedar Lawn Crematory Chapel, Paterson. Friends may call Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9 PM.
