Obituary of Sante Minerva

Minerva, Sante age 61 of Totowa at rest in Paterson on August 23, 2009. Beloved husband of the former Maddalena Pisacreta of Totowa. Loving father of Marianna Emmolo and her husband David of Totowa and Luigi Minerva and his wife Danielle Vitolo of Bridgewater. Adoring and Nonno of Gianna, Alexander, Victoria, Adriana and Julietta. Brother of Paolo, Grazio, Antonia and Giulia Minerva all of Italy and the late Francesco, Cosimo, Pasquale and Anna Minerva. Survivors include members of the Minerva and Pisacreta family. He was the owner/operator of Sandy's Automotive/Luke Oil Gas in Paterson for 30 years before retiring in 2008. Mr Minerva was Consigliere at the Ieri Oggi Domani Italian Social Club in Rutherford. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the viewing from Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Thursday 2 - 4 PM and 7 - 9 PM and funeral on Friday at 8:15 AM. Funeral mass to follow at St. Bonaventure R.C. Church, 174 Ramsey St, Paterson 9:00 AM. Entombment at Laurel Grove Cemetery Mausoleum, 295 Totowa Rd, Totowa. In lieu of flowers donations maybe made to the Sante Minerva Lung Cancer Prevention Fund, 117 Barnert Ave, Totowa, NJ 07512. The family will use the donations to help others to stop smoking.
