Obituary of Claire Tierney

Tierney, Claire (nee Woods), age 77 of Clifton at rest in Cedar Grove on August 21, 2009. Born in Paterson, she lived there before moving to Clifton fifty-six years ago. Claire was a Bus Driver for the Clifton Board of Education, Clifton before retiring 7 years ago. Mrs. Tierney was a member of the Moose, Clifton and a volunteer at the Passaic County Pet Adoption. Beloved wife of the late Edward J. Tierney Sr. Loving Mother of Edward J. Tierney Jr. of Mass., Patrick M. Tierney of Clifton, and Sean Tierney of NY. Grandmother of Erin Sawicki and Kyle, Patrick, Kelly, Kevin and Chloe Tierney. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service at the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, on Tuesday at 9:30 AM. Committal prayers to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. Friends may call Monday 2-4 and 7-9 PM.
